If there is data you need that does not appear on our website, or if you have suggestions, I invite your input. We are dedicated to serving the citizens of this community in every way possible to ensure that property taxation in Uvalde County is fair and equal.
Uvalde County Appraisal District is open to the public from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Monday through Friday except for posted holidays or other events. Property owners are encouraged to utilize email or mail resources to file applications or submit renditions. Property tax payments can also be paid online or by mail. When visiting the office in-person, please remember to use common sense and wise judgment regarding good health practices.
Uvalde County Appraisal District (UCAD) reserves the right, in accordance with the recommended guidelines from the DSHS, to make changes within the UCAD office that are in the interest of public health safety. We require a mask be worn when entering our establishment and maintaining a safe distance as outlined by the Department of State Health Services. It is the individual’s responsibility to not enter public places if they are exhibiting symptoms. Anyone exhibiting symptoms outlined in the DSHS protocols may be asked to conduct UCAD business online, through the US Postal Service or over the phone.
Customers are encouraged to continue utilizing online resources, email, or telephone to conduct their business with the appraisal district. Tighter restrictions may be imposed during Appraisal Review Board (ARB) Hearings. Individuals should periodically check our website for breaking news on the Districts day to day operations.
